As we all know Peter Virdee is a philanthropist and well renowned person for his charitable work all around the world. Recently his visit in India makes him visit Pingalwara in Amritsar. Pingalwara is a house for destitute in Amritsar in northern Indian state of Punjab. This is a home for the homeless, a hope for the forlorn, a hospital for the sick and a cradle for the orphaned and abandoned child.
After visiting the place, Peter Virdee says that he is very happy to see a place like this where a group of people are helping unfortunate people despite asking about their religion and caste. This is a true place where your penny is worth charity. Mr. Virdee says “I often listen about this place and give donations several times but never get time to stop by and visit the place personally.”
Mr. Peter Virdee also requested his fellow NRI people to visit this place once in his lifetime. He says “I request my friends and fellow NRI to visit this place and support their cause where they are working so hard for these deprived people. It is so priceless to see these people helping children and women. If you ever visit Punjab, you must visit this place. If you are giving out money in charity to the Gurudwara and poor people, you must donate some amount to this place to support them.”

He also explained this trip very close to his heart that touched him emotionally. and he regrets that he could not visit this place before. Mr. Peter Virdee has immense faith in God and he belief that everything that happens has a reason. His visit to Pingalwara is only happend because Waheguru (God) wants him to do it. God is the only one who shows me the path of philanthropy and make me what I am today.
